Today,
I allow myself to be me.
Easy and happy,
picking up a lucky penny on the street,
feel the renewed faith within me, "In God We Trust".

Today,
I allow myself to be me.
Cheesy and thrifty,
Reusing containers from Chinese take-out,
feel the unexplainable self-satisfaction.

Today,
I allow myself to be me.
Girly an showy.
Wearing a perfect make-up and a new dress,
feel like a "Pretty woman".

Today,
I allow myself to be me.
Sleepy and lazy.
Doing nothing but taking a long bath,
sleep like a seal on a rock for 12 hours.

Today,
I allow myself to be me.
Manly and lousy.
Grumbling at other drivers with the words that no one ever taught me,
drive like a lunatic.

Today,
I allow myself to be me.
Naughty and sexy
Dancing around in a dim light,
fancy myself as a disco queen.

Today,
I allow myself to be me.
Empty and lonely
Reading the book "The Best Quotes of Famous People"
eat chocolate all day long.

Feeling ridiculous and ashamed of myself sometimes,
Today,
